Partnering with the award-winning fundraising platform, our mission is to spotlight the everyday people who go above and beyond for the causes they care about most.
We’ve leveraged every tool at our disposal to amplify the platform’s core purpose: supporting people and communities with a shared desire to leave the world a little better than they found it.
Our Response
The most powerful way to spread the message is by showcasing the incredible fundraisers making a meaningful impact within their communities. We do this year-round, but a key focal point is the JustGiving Awards, a powerful platform that highlights the incredible efforts of fundraisers. In 2024, the awards celebrated eight extraordinary people who collectively raised £16 million for worthy causes.
Our goal was to secure extensive national, regional and local media coverage which authentically captured the heart of each winner's journey. Through compelling case studies, celebrity endorsements, and a strategically planned VIP media table at the event, we generated substantial buzz, cultivating a narrative of hope and inspiration.
By amplifying the voices of these fundraising champions, the JustGiving Awards over the past two years has not only celebrated and raised awareness of their remarkable achievements but also reinforced JustGiving's mission to empower social good – an endeavour that tigerbond is proud to be part of.
Impact
Driven by a true labour of love, we leveraged every local and national connection available; media, broadcast, influencers, and community stakeholders, to maintain a strong spotlight on JustGiving and the incredible work of its fundraisers.
Our campaigns are designed to let the platform’s users shine, demonstrating the positive impact JustGiving has on charities and individuals across communities every day.
To ensure maximum reach and engagement, our media strategy secured celebrity attendance, generating high-impact photo opportunities and boosting visibility. We developed compelling case studies for all winners and executed a well-timed media outreach plan.
On the night of the event, we hosted a VIP media table, prompting strong media coverage and sparking organic social media pick up across their channels.
In addition, we extended the awards' impact beyond the national stage by placing regional and local press stories that amplified the celebration of these inspiring achievements.
“We've all worked extremely hard on this campaign, from initial planning, introducing new exciting elements such as our surprise and delight and video activity, going even bigger with our judging panel, securing talent including our fabulous host Rylan, managing relationships with VIFs (very important fundraisers) and quadrupling our media presence there on the night.
“It's been such a lot of work and a real team effort with Tigerbond, but the results achieved are phenomenal, making it all so worth it.
“The event was totally seamless - from our step and repeat, live red carpet media interviews, turning around videos of speeches and issuing press releases at pace for the overnight news teams, as well as managing additional media requests from those there on the night.
