The Challenge

In response to the energy cost crisis, Dreamland UK - creator of the nation’s best-selling warming blankets and heated throws - embarked on a mission to encourage communities across the country to embrace new ways of staying warm at home. Their goal: help people beat the cold while tackling rising energy costs. Believing that life is too short to shiver, they found the perfect partner in Tigerbond, who stepped in to generate social and media buzz around this timely issue.

Our Response

Amid the cost-of-living crisis, our tigers tuned in to the mood of the nation and the fundamentals of what our audience needed and leapt on our unrivalled network of news and lifestyle journalists looking for topical hooks. With money-saving tips dominating the news, we positioned Dreamland as a go-to brand for staying cosy during winter through a targeted media relations campaign.

By highlighting the energy-saving benefits of their products and conducting a strategic media drop to top-tier journalists, we generated significant interest and coverage. Recognising Dreamland's positive impact, we also entered the business into key national award categories, further boosting its profile.

As an integrated campaign, we also co-ordinated a full social campaign – ensuring Dreamland was a part of online community discussions with key influencers and across channels.

Impact

Driven by a mission to help communities across Britain stay warm and reduce energy costs, we leveraged social channels and every local and national media connection - from broadcasters to influencers - to showcase the benefits of Dreamland's products.

Within the first month of our media campaign, we secured 20 product reviews, positioning Dreamland as a leader in its category. Coverage appeared in top national outlets like The Independent, The Sun, and The Daily Mirror, as well as gold-tier home titles Good Housekeeping and Real Homes.

As a testament to its impact, Dreamland won the "Dreamy Bedrooms" category at the Real Homes Awards for their Organic Cotton Mattress Cover.
