The Challenge

Global eye care giant Bausch & Lomb enlisted the support of Tigerbond to maximise search ads visibility for a range of their eye care product brands, including Artelac, Blink and Vividrin. Our team was tasked with developing and implementing a multi-layered PPC campaign to drive engagement and sales in their Amazon store. 

Our Response

In depth research gave our team an understanding of search volume and intent across both branded and non-branded terms. We then developed a clear funnel-led strategy that gave the client complete control over return on investment at each funnel stage. 
  
A campaign structure that blended awareness display, search and remarketing was developed for each brand. Search campaigns considered both brand and non-brand search, with our non-brand ‘problems and solutions’ precisely detailing the subtle difference in B&L’s products and the helpful solutions they offer consumers. 
  
We systematically tested driving traffic to both the brand’s website and their Amazon store to understand how potential customers engaged with the brand at each stage of the marketing funnel. 
  
Precision link tracking using attribution tools in Amazon allowed us to gain full visibility of performance at the ad group level. This approach meant we were able maximise Amazon ROAS for the campaign’s highest performing search terms and draw back on those that were less successful. 

Impact

Our newly formed PPC campaigns saw significant gains for each brand at the outset, driving in excess of 80,000 users to both the brand websites and their Amazon product pages. 
  
With the introduction of Blink as B&L's  primary consumer-facing brand in early 2024, there was additional focus on growing brand awareness and Amazon sales at pace. The 'problems and solutions' PPC campaign delivered, generating average monthly revenue increases of 51% and an average Amazon CPA of just £5.56.
