From fabulous festivals to thespian theatres, the live events industry is worth an estimated £30bn a year to the UK’s economy. Production Park is a unique hub at the forefront of the sector – a central pillar to the country’s cultural output. It unites technology, creative spaces and education to produce the most spectacular live event experiences, whilst fostering the next generation entering the industry.
But with live events on pause, and the industry facing a looming existential crisis due to the Covid pandemic, we worked with the client to ensure the importance of the industry and the pivotal role Production Park plays within it was heard loud and clear across the UK.
Coinciding with the Government’s lockdown restrictions and wraparound support for business, our PR team worked closely with the client, carefully curating a series of announcements to emphasise the significance of the live events industry on Britain’s cultural export and Production Park’s role within it.
From interview placements to long-form features, our editorial team crafted a mix of written content, to ensure a steady drumbeat of announcements were being communicated to Production Park’s key audiences both regionally and across the UK.
We achieved coverage in features across regional business titles, including the Yorkshire Post, The Business Desk and Business Insider, and secure national interviews with the likes of BBC Radio 4.
