The group’s ‘Love Food Feel Good’ campaign will highlight the care that goes into creating unforgettable dining moments, from hand-selecting quality produce to delivering out-of-this-world hospitality
Leading Scottish hospitality group Buzzworks has unveiled its biggest campaign to date, aimed at celebrating the exceptional local produce, care and attention which makes their dishes stand-out from the crowd.
The group’s ‘Love Food Feel Good’ initiative will be rolled out across its 19 restaurants and bars over the next few months, showcasing the passion and consideration which goes into creating each plate.
Led by Buzzworks’ newly appointed head of food Scott van der Hoek, the campaign will also celebrate the feel-good factor that comes with enjoying a delicious meal and great hospitality with friends and family.
And with the portfolio’s ever-expanding repertoire of delicious meals and dining experiences, Scott is confident that ‘Love Food Feel Good’ will take the hospitality operator’s culinary offerings to even greater heights.
He said: “People love great food and celebrating life’s milestone moments around it. When I think back to some of the most important moments of my life, it’s been surrounded by my loved ones enjoying a fantastic meal or dish together. I can’t even begin to imagine how many people have experienced something similar at one of our venues.
“We help create those unforgettable moments every single day and that’s why our ‘Love Food Feel Good’ campaign will touch the hearts of so many of the guests we welcome through our doors. We want to take those special moments to the next level with feel-good dishes and world class hospitality that brings people together.
“Everything we offer is carefully considered and expertly selected from our handpicked suppliers who share our ethos - whether it’s the fresh langoustines delivered daily from Troon Harbour, to the mouthwatering steaks from local butchers - we want to share that with our guests.
“We are ambitious and determined in our vision to offer the ultimate dining experience no matter the occasion – and I am confident this campaign puts us firmly on the path to achieving that.”
The campaign has already been launched within the internal Buzzworks team, with chefs and front-of-house staff alike working behind-the-scenes to bring the exciting idea to life.
Scott continued: “Our teams are really the people driving this new initiative.
“We’ve conducted staff surveys, held focus groups and established our very own ‘Love Food Feel Good’ committee to identify what our teams are passionate about and brainstorm how we can share that love with our guests.
“We have committee members in each of our venues across Scotland who have been planning lots of exciting activities to support their local communities, which we’re looking forward to getting involved with over the coming months.
“It’s the passion and expertise of our staff that is at the heart of this campaign, and we hope that will shine through for the guests who come to dine with us.”
As well as celebrating Buzzworks’ commitment to providing guests with unforgettable dining experiences, the new campaign also shines a light on the group’s industry leading career paths, training and expertise within the business.
With a number of outstanding incentives and company benefits - including the group’s newly launched Chef Awards scheme – it’s hoped the campaign will help encourage a raft of new talent into the industry.
Nicola Watt, head of people at Buzzworks, said: “We love making people feel great through hospitality, and a huge part of us being able to achieve that is through our incredibly talented workforce.
“We’re passionate about making sure our teams have fantastic opportunities, excellent training facilities and superb career opportunities, and that’s exactly what ‘Love Food Feel Good’ celebrates.
“There has never been a more exciting time to join Scotland’s hospitality sector, and with a range of locations, benefits and training schemes in place, Buzzworks really is the place to be.”
Buzzworks is hiring for a number of kitchen, front-of-house and mid-level management roles at venues across its portfolio, including the newly launched Scotts Bar & Restaurant at Ocean Terminal in Greenock.
