Leading hospitality group Buzzworks Holdings is thrilled to unveil the recent revamp of its popular Ayrshire venue, The Corner House, following a significant rebrand and stylish makeover.
After seven years of providing great food and fantastic service to locals and visitors to Kilwinning alike, the pub and restaurant has undergone an incredible transformation, presenting a refreshed visual identity that exudes elegance and local charm.
The relaxed all-day destination, based in the heart of Kilwinning, has been newly revitalised with bold and colourful décor, stunning new furnishings, and an incredible courtyard transformation, just in time for summer.
It has also been updated with a stunning fusion of luxury fabrics, unique wallpapers, and striking artwork, much of which is sourced from Scottish artists and recent graduates.
Stewart Adam, General Manager at The Corner House, said: "We are thrilled to present the new and improved Corner House to our valued guests and new customers. It’s the perfect place for friends, families, or colleagues to get together and enjoy a few drinks, delicious food, and fantastic service.
“The rebrand and re-style have allowed us to create an elevated and aspirational experience while staying true to our local roots. We are especially proud to feature the work of talented Scottish artists, supporting the community that has been at the heart of our success.
“We are confident that our guests will fall in love with the fresh and inviting ambiance, as we continue to offer exceptional dining, heartfelt hospitality, and a range of delicious food for all the family at our much-loved venue.”
Designed by Buzzworks’ in-house design team, the Corner House's revamp highlights Buzzworks’ commitment to continually improving its offering and giving customers a great place to dine.
Its re-style extends throughout the venue, with meticulous attention to detail. Bespoke curved booths in the restaurant are upholstered in luxurious velvets, creating an intimate dining experience.
The Courtyard has been lovingly restored with a captivating hand-painted mural, accompanied by layers of plants to create a delightful outdoor feel. The bar radiates warmth and style, with reupholstered chairs and an attractive mix of colours and patterns.
The bar area has also received a refreshing makeover with vibrant colour and captivating patterns, injecting a lively ambiance into the space. Existing chairs have been skillfully reupholstered with sumptuous velvet, featuring an eye-catching abstract pattern on the backrests, ensuring both comfort and style for customers.
Meanwhile, its Private Dining Room features an abstract, tropical-inspired print on the ceiling, and woven grass textures in the background lend a touch of exotic elegance. Sustainable practices, such as upcycling vintage details and incorporating salvaged materials, are showcased throughout the venue.
Stewart continued: “With sustainability becoming ever more important to us and our customers, it is increasingly informing our design decisions. This has resulted in us reusing, up cycling and incorporating salvaged and vintage elements such as our salvaged bronze handles from an Art Deco bank in Glasgow, reupholstered existing chairs with new fabrics, and painting our bar front with a warm pop of burnt orange.
“In addition, our culinary team has launched a vibrant new food and cocktail menu, featuring an array of delicious dishes inspired by the flavours of the season, and we can't wait for everyone to try them.
“Whether you're stopping by for a quick lunch, a well-earned cocktail or a leisurely dinner with the full family, we invite you to come and enjoy the warm weather with us while savouring our new menu offerings."
Some of the standout dishes on the menu include the delectable salmon rillette or ricotta & tomato bruschetta starter, and mains such as the tuscan sausage trofie pasta, chicken caesar salad, the fillet of seabass and king prawns, plus plenty of delicious options for the little ones.
For dessert, guests can indulge in the dreamy white chocolate & passionfruit cheesecake, dark chocolate and almond profiteroles, or the summer berry pavlova.
Meanwhile, those looking to cool down with a refreshing beverage can choose from a roster of unique summer cocktails including will include the candyfloss martini, the epic matcha mojito, a Tommy’s margarita or the Louisiana house punch.
